Judy Caldwell

Judy Caldwell

“The artist paints for herself, out of her own need, otherwise the story lacks reality.”
                                – Madeleine L’Engle, Walking on Water
My need to become part of the land and breathe its rhythm is my soul’s search for peace. This search is my process in art. I am forever learning to be more present — fully mindful and engaged in nature’s timing and energies. My instinctual use of color brings an integrity to the process and creates a spontaneous feeling for the ephemeral.
